Also, Black and Brown Boar is regular leaf.
Bloody Butcher should be PL. |

...And spring finally arrived to PNW - we had snow today, after the warm and sunny winter. Sigh.

Yippee!! My tree finally started opening its leaf buds this morning. Actually earlier than last year but it sure seemed like a much longer winter. My first batch of tomatoes will get to spend the night outside tonight. Wish it was dry enough to put in my beans but I guess I'll have to wait til the beds dry out a little more. I have got so many new varieties to try this year. Tilled a row next to my back fence, where I'll grow my determinates (they no longer rate prime bed space). My backyard flower bed will have fewer flowers and I hope they do good in the shade of tomato plants. This is nuts.

Ah well. I still think something is off, as I have an abundance of PL BB's when there really oughtn't be that many --my records can't be THAT messed up! I'll wait until they're fruiting and that'll be the acid test.

I put 26 plants out on Saturday. I have a few more I need to squeeze in somewhere (isn't that always the case?). This is the first year I have planted this early, and took the advice of all the Texas TV members. Hoping for the best!

Spring arrived here too. The temp was in the mid 60's. Ah paradise but snow is coming this weekend. I won't even plant my indoor tomato seedlings until later this month. Sigh.
