leaves lighter after hardening-off?
My plants for the most part are fully acclimated to the outside world now. However, they are noticeably lighter now than the ones that haven't seen the outside. A few of them did have a pretty rude awakening/minor burn, but they are very healthy with a lighter coloration....
anybody know what this is about? |

I have no idea why it happened but mine did the same thing this year. The plants seem to be doing o.k. though, they are from both bought and saved seed. Sorry I don't know the answer but you are not alone.

I got whitening on my leaves... I am guessing it was sunburn? Not sure.
I looked through the tomato disease guides to make sure it wasn't some foliar affliction. Mine were left out in some pretty strong sun. I am guessing they just weren't reading for that yet. |
