Birthday gift from Victory Seeds
My niece and nephew sent me a $75 gift certificate to Victory Seeds for my birthday!
I can't remember ever being so excited about a present as this! It will be easy for me to spend $75, so I'm trying to choose seeds carefully. I'm hoping to get some recommendations from those of you who have ordered from Victory in the past. Any of you have any favorites that Victory carries? Bubba |

I Don't buy tomato seeds from anywhere, they just kind of land on me but if you want me to look at the tomato varieties that I've sent to Mike that he's offered, as well as others he lists I can do that and give you some ideas there as well.
I suppose I could force myself to look at the non-tomato offerings b'c until about 1998 I grew OP varieties of almost everything else, usually 6-8 of a kind each year, meaning 8 carrots, 8 beans, and on and on. if that would help.

I'm really just looking at tomatoes for now, but I haven't even had a chance to peruse the website or the catalog yet. I'm interested in all colors and sizes that have their reputations based on great flavor and high yields. Any OP possibilities that also possess tolerance to heat and disease would be worth knowing, but I won't hold my breath! |

Thanks!
Looking forward to blowing $75 on seeds! Nothing I'd ever do myself! Have you ever ordered from them? |

What a nice gift. I've ordered from Victory a couple times and consider them one of my favorites. They pretty much sent me the number of seeds indicated when ordering, unlike some companies who send a few extra, but that wasn't really a negative for me. Other than that I've always enjoyed looking at their varieties, and they have some good ones. Enjoy....Jeff

I've ordered from them a number of times too and like them very much. Germination of their seeds is always extremely high, and I've never had an off-type, to my knowledge. Their Aunt Hettie's Red okra is top-notch, to my taste, and a beautiful plant as well. Nice present!

Look up the tree-type tomatoes...I will be ordering some seeds of New Big Dwarf, Dwarf Champion Improved, and Golden Dwarf Champion next year.
