I empathize, I have a terrible deer problem as well. I live in a gated community in the woods, the neighbors are mostly transplants from the city, so they think it is great to feed the deer. They make the problem much worse. I had to fence everything, they even chewed down my Russian Sage (which they aren't supposed to like due to its strong odor).

I have 7 bins of potato plants that I was going to fence when I started them back in early April, but never did, since the deer never bothered them. Well, you guessed it, they came last night and chewed the front half off of most of the potato plants. I guess I will be out there rigging up temporary fencing tonight.
