Question on white tomatoes
I may possibly have a White Wonder in my garden this year. It was one of the varieties listed on a mixed seed pack that we are playing "Guess The Mystery Tomato" with. lol
Now...how does one tell when these things are ripe? The plant that I think MAY be a WW has VERY light coloured fruit. White with a slight tinge of green to it. Am I looking for a colour change or do I have to fondle the fruit? :p |

LOL So what am I looking for...a change from the slight greenish tinge to a more cream colour?

As travis so clearly explained in saying both.
Actually it should ripen up not white, there are no totally white tomato varieties, but an ivory to light yellow to a deeper yellow depending on the degree of foliage cover and the amount of UV. Are you going to buy a mixed pack of heirloom varieties again next year?
