Larry - thanks so much for listening! Amazing how the 30 minutes seems to go by in about 10 seconds. It is a fun spot to do....she is a very cool person, has a great blog - and is working on a book herself. Plus she gets to live in an incredible place- Nova Scotia! So now people got to hear my low yield high heat blossom drop and rampant disease sob story!!!

Darn!

I caught the first two previous shows, so was disappointed to miss this one. Still unpacking from a week away from home, so did not check T-ville until this afternoon. Hope to catch it later if we can get a link.

I listened! Thought it was way cool and actually catching it was a total coincidence in that I had only been registered here at TV for 12 hrs or so.

Anyhow I'm very impressed with the operation here on the whole. I used to garden with mom when younger - the only tomatoes we did were run of the mill hybrids. Now I'm in my mid 20s and doing grad school. I have a tendency to pick up hobbies, get fairly decent at them, and then pick up the next one.

So first it was motorcycles, then skydiving, now I'm looking to grow the best tomato that I can. I came to the realization that some of my tomatoes are a lot better than others, and as a total tomato fiend I am determined to figure out what works and what doesn't, and in the meanwhile grow some awesome stuff!

Anyhow, greetings and sorry to threadjack. I'm looking forward to getting my feet wet in the world of serious tomato gardening.

Back on this morning - at 1030 EST, for 30 min. We will probably talk about temperatures and impact on tomato fruit set (the horrors of this season!), status of the Dwarf project, quick sauces for tomatoes, and any other questions that come to mind. See the first post in this thread for the link to listen live!
