i would like to share my small winter grow out with you folks photo #1 has got broccoli and caulifower
in it it has two 11 inch air stones in the 75 gallon reservoire, photo #2 also has the same in it but no air stones in the reservoire as you can see there is a big difference in the growth as they where both planted at the same time. photos of #3 and #4 are green globe artichokes, and # 4 photo is tyee f1 spinach. |

hi lycopene,
yes the one artichoke pland is in a smart pot (30 gal.) the other choke is in a 30 container, my results last summer where the same in both containers for this reason i will not use smart pots next year. the brock. and caulif. is in my self made maxi- tainers they both have 75 gallon reservoirs the one with the biggest plants has 2 11 inch air stones in the reservoir quit a bit of difference in the size of them as you can see must be the air stones ??,regards, les. |

The best price I have seen for Coco fiber is here:
Hydro-Gardens A 5 gallon grow bag with enough coco to fill it is under $3. |
