That is pretty cool. It looks like two leaves have grown together, perfectly; forming a type of Venus Fly Trap/Jack in Pulpit look.

Looks like my one leafed Al-Kuffa with no growing tip. Just sits there and does nothing.

And that's exactly what it is.

If it were me I'd be thinking about funeral preparations right now and putting that plant out of its misery b'c it's doomed.

Such blind plants do happen from time to time and very very rarely do they send out a side branch that substitutes for a leader stem. So as I see it:

RIP.

So this abnormality is called "Blind", thanks Carolyn.
I think I will keep it around just to see what it does.
