I think that's possibly the way I'm heading as well Travis, as I mentioned in a post right after yours but didn't see yours when I was doing that long post.

In my case, no big deal. In your case, Carolyn, considering your long and heavy involvement with SSE, that is indeed unfortunate for many people, especially those older members who do not visit the online seed trading forums.

Travis, in the 2011 Yearbook I'm only listing 34 varieties which is peanuts compared to many others. So if I gradually bow out from listing as the seeds for a variety become 5 yo, no big loss as I see it.

The problem is I just can't see myself not growing tomatoes and since I fell I've concentrated on finding varieties that will be new to all or most.

Yes, I have had a long and heavy involvement with SSE over the years, but situations change, I have some issues about SSE now, not for public discussion, and it's time that others younger than myself become more involved if they want to.

On a lighter note, two men are outside finishing putting up the new gutters that had to be torn down this past winter due to major ice problems. My local construction person made the arrangements with this company and they've been great. But in discussing what kind of of gutters to put up Art was told that the top of the line stainless steel seamless gutters had a 50 year guarantee to which he replied....my client will be 72 in June so I don't think that's the best choice for her.
