Bonide Dust
Anyone ever use this. The active ingredient is permethrin. Will this burn plants?
Thanks |

I've never used a permethrin based dust product but have used Pyola which is a Pyrethrin based liquid. I see no reason that it would burn plants but if it's like Pyola, as a precaution don't use it if the temps are over 90F. Maybe Bonide's instructions have more information on that.
Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid toxin, where Pyrethrin is a naturally derived pyrethroid. Permethrin has a higher toxicity and is little more persistent in the environment. |
