Tomato tasting party?

My wife and I are going to have friends over for a tomato tasting this summer. I was wondering how other people have done this and was hoping for suggestions and insight. Thanks.

We started off with 3 of us planning the party and then inviting friends who grow tomatoes. I make prizes for different categories like Best, Sweetest, Biggest, Ugliest, etc. We have a picnic. Everyone brings a dish and I provide meat, plate, cups, etc.
It truly is a lot of fun. Most everyone returns year to year, and we've gotten new attendees along the way. Everyone is friendly and makes new people feel welcome that really helps.
