Suzanne, it was such a pleasure to meet you - I loved our chat! Get your questions lined up and come on back and ask away - I am spending much of my days out there watering and weeding (except not today - we are off to VA to see Arcade Fire in concert tonight!).

That wasn't a very good video - the camera was too shaky....I was not under the influence - just trying to step over stuff, tape and talk without falling over something!

Next few clips I will focus on individual crops - they all have interesting stories to tell....now that fruit is setting and they are distinguishing themselves a bit.

My normal early morning survey (with my cup of java) of my backyard garden is going to be disturbed by thunderstorms. So, I really, really appreciate being able to sit here and take a tour of yours, Craig. It is amazing to see the number of pots of tomatoes, peppers, eggplants. I called my husband over to the computer to see all the pots and he laughingly said that I could have had all those pots too if we didn't just spend hundreds of dollars to put fence around my large garden. Of course, I had to tell him that I think you have had to do battle with the deer too.
Thanks for the video and for all your hard work on the tomato/pepper projects.
Chris

With the risk of jinxing the season, we have two water scarecrows protecting our two gardens - they are aimed at the entry way front and back and back far enough to even cover the middle. So far they've worked great!

Nice to not have to dance around and under and in between fences to work in the garden! I am sure at some point, some night, etc the deer will move in a bit - but probably not consistently.

Looking most excellent Craig! I'm growing Lucky Cross for the first time this year and it looks nothing like yours as far as fruit shape, I'll have to see what I have when it colors up.
