Default July 1 Annual State of the Tomato Garden Checklist and Notes

Today I will be taking my little clipboard with the checklist on it and checking the 105 plants for plant vigor. height. disease problems or lack of; if the plant has blooms and/or green fruit and/or ripe fruit(which is not going to happen this year as I planted late)

I will check the list to see who been naughty or nice. In the fall will give awards for Miss Congeniality, the most talented etc. Of course the most selfless one will be given the coveted Miss Tomatotarian award the overall winner will receive the title of Tomato of the Year honors.

Yes, I need a life.

Hmmm...made my first official assessment here on 6/22 and must admit I really like your idea of giving credit where credit is due at the end of the season.

But it's kind of a nice life, don't you think?
