Tomatoes, Beans, Cukes.

Tomatoes are 5+ feet tall now for the most part. Lots of flowers, some fruit set, hoping for more...

The flowers and vegetables are looking great. You have some very nice looking tomatoes. I wish my Wes looked as good as yours. I only have 1 tomato on my plant.

Really nice pictures- everything looks great! Your tomatoes look very big for your zone and I've yet to see a bean from my McCaslans that were planted on May 7th. Hope your harvests are abundant.

So far I have picked a nice Cherokee Purple, a couple of Jaune Flamee, one Earl of Edgecombe, a bunch of Stupices, a bunch of SunGolds. Also, see a picture of the gardener in front of his community garden plot in Chanhassen, MN.

Eggplants (Rosa Biancha and Listada de Gandia) are coming in fast and furious. I think I got two ripe eggplants last year, with the hot weather this summer, I'll have more than I can handle. Black Cherry almost ready. Black Pearl ornamental pepper is a super cool plant. I suggest growing it if you haven't already.

Nice! thanks for the update. I've had a few ripe tomatoes here and there. Earliest ones were Miravsky Div and Sunsugar Hybrid. I have a few others that are ready or close. I'm in central MN.

Very nice Pat not sure how I missed the first post and the follow-ups looking great!! I had my first BLT with my wife a couple of days age from NBD and have some other blushing now but hope to have allot more in a few weeks what a weird year growing here.

Hey, nice pictures! Isn't it lovely to not have to buy store tomatoes any more? Great shot of the little yellow bird on the flower, do you know the species? Such a tiny little thing!

So far, I've gotten mostly Stupice, and Sungolds are now putting out as well, picked a couple of Black Cherries yesterday. From the larger tomatoes, I've picked three Moskvich, two Spudakee and one off-type RL red non-Spudakee, one solitary small Black from Tula, and a small lumpy Earl's Faux. Also a couple from Rosella Purple and some others from the Dwarf Project. I see a faint color change on some of the other big varieties, so with any luck, they will be in blush by the end of the week. My location got slightly less extreme high temps than you guys a bit further south, but with the humidity, I am not seeing the quantity of newer small fruit set I would have expected for this time of year. I'm hoping the hot weather will push our fall a little later to avoid those early frosts so this later fruit set has a chance to mature.

Weird year indeed, late spring and cool wet early summer, then flipped over into high heat and humidity.

I think it is an American Goldfinch. Could be wrong as I am not a great birding mind.
