Yesterday, the fire marshall came to investigate for a burn permit. When she
left, she had seed for Suddath, Blk Krim, Cherokee Green, Kosovo and Black Cherry plus 5 labelled 4" black plastic growing containers, a printed instruction page (which includes the necessity of singing to the heirlooms and flicking blossoms while you sing). I have a feeling, based on her excitement, that more firemen will be stopping by. LOL, if my house ever catches on fire, the fire dept. will protect my hoophouses first!! |

Hey, wait a minute!!!!
She's talking about me. I'm one of those "bug people". How did she know? Will I have to leave home? Will I have to get a new identity? WAIT A MINUTE, this is a TOMATO forum. But how did she know I am a beekeeper? I'll never know. Must have something to do with the tomatoes. That must be it. I'm heading out to the garden to pick a handful of cherry tomatoes for my salad. The bees are already tucked in for the night. DarJones |
