Default Hit the ground running!

The topic of mailing tomato seeds made me think about an exchange I had last year with Steve in VA (is he on board here yet?). We agreed to swap seeds, but with the seeds packaged in moist paper towels and sealed in plastic, so that when they arrived at their respective destinations, they were already sprouting! It worked like a charm, and was successful on each end. I sent him Nepal, and he sent me Cherokee Purple (which incidentally produced one of the hugest tomatoes I've ever seen, it was shaped like a doughnut, with a hole in the middle, and weighed 1.5 to 2 lbs.).

Anyhow, just a thought for this spring.
