Default Beauty King

This has struggled somewhat with blight but has more fruit on it than many other varieties in the garden so I respect it for that. I wasn't sure what constituted ripe but I think this is it, rather than the one I had a couple days ago. The taste is good, on the sweet side, just the way I like my tomatoes. You have another hit, Brad.

Barb,

Beautiful tomato. What does the interior coloration look like?

Hi Suze, would you like some seeds?

It's bicolor. There is red shot thru the yellow inside. Very pretty and I thought quite tasty. I was up at my neighbor's yesterday and brought her a huge and impressive Grandfather Ashlock which she oohhed and ahhed over. Then she said the Beauty King was a very tasty tomato, too. So I have 3 varieties that managed to "shine" in a very bad year and that was one of them.

Barb, I sure would and thanks for offering. I'll be moving towards the end of this month, so if you don't already have them dried and ready to send, let's just wait and I'll send you my new address a bit later.

Thanks,
Suze

The first batch is dry, pm your address and I'll send them out the first of the week.

I'll send some Haley's Purple Comets, too.
