Default Can anyone advise if this is pest damage or disease?

The damage is on the tops of pepper plants, mostly on the new growth on top. The damaged portion turns dark and very dry. I have about 20 plants but only 2 plants are affected (Jalapeno and Chianti bell pepper). I was wondering if anyone knew what this may be. Thanks.

Definitely bug action there. I get the same thing sometimes, they'll single out a plant and chew on it during the night. I has one pepper plant earlier in the month that had two leaves attacked by leaf miners one night, no other plant was affected then or since.
