Tiny bugs eating my tomatoes

I have these tiny flying insects that are eating my tomatoes, they will eat a hole at first then in cases where I didn't see a tomato because of it being hidden by leaves these bugs will eat up the entire tomato. I've dusted with DE doesn't seem to do any good. Can anybody recommend a good bug killer I want to declare war I just threw away about eight nice size tomatoes this morning because of these bugs. I tried to get more lady bugs but it's too hot for them now.
