Default Russian Cossack

Here are my first two Russian Cossack. A bit beat up as some of the early ones get....especially with our weather lately...but wanted to share anyway to get some pics of this one out there.

Nice! I haven't noticed any on mine blushing yet. Are you seeing much variation? I have one plant out of the 5 I have that is putting out larger fruit than any of the others, but I don't know if it's environmental...

I have 5 plants fairly consistent so far but it is early.

Hope you got some rain on your side of the state. Really dry here and only managed 9/100ths last night.

Nothing here, it's looking pretty bleak. My water bill is going to be bad, and crop insurance is going to pay out a lot this year.

Oh, I wish your photos were larger! I also have two Russian Cossack growing. On one, the first bloom was a fused blossom. I can't wait to see that tomato!

What size are these? I find it kind of fun not knowing what I'm going to get! I love surprises!

To everyone who is growing RC, could you please comment on the size and growth habit? I'm growing one, and wonder how big to plan for.

Thanks!

Mine are amongst the most compact plants of Tom's varieties I'm growing this year. Helsing ★★★★★★★★ Blues is probably 5 ft tall already, Russian Cossack is only about 3 so far.

Yes plants seem "less dense" and not as tall as others around it so far. The tom on the left in the picture was about 3".

I believe Tom Wagner indicated that Russian Cossack was a determinate plant.
