My garden and skunk??
My garden this morning after watering last afternoon, nice growth so far, only watering now every 3-4 days heavy. My birdbath top which is differet than the bottom just sits on top, this morning i found it laying down. Picked it up and found skunk hair under the very heavy top. I just realized that these photos i am losing the ground as plants tomatoes/peppers, herbs spread out.

The Texas solution is a 410 or 20 gauge.

Catch the skunk, have his/her gland removed and keep as a wonderful family addition.
They are related to the feline family. A ground hog is a different story. Julia

I put the birdbath back up, so you all think he would come back after losing hair? I was lucky the top do not hit a plant, i may put it out of the garden.

Might want to think twice about blasting all that skunk oil all over your garden.A shotgun will vaporize it.Might want to try the larger air/pellet gun.Even then when shot it will release.Trap, walk up with tarp or plastic sheeting, cover remove to the wild. They will release up to 8 ft.

funnel it with boards to a livetrap baited with jam, cover with tarp run hose to exhaust pipe of care wait ten minutes.....viola! Check local laws before useing this technique. Use a syringe to remove the "essence".
