As Promised here is the photo of the first heirloom picked.
Tartar Of Mongolistan. Small, odd shaped and filled with seeds. The taste was acidity with hints of sweet. First Impression; A decent tasting variety from a small mature plant standing approx. 3.5 Ft tall. Would I grow it again? With so many varieties out there I don't know the answer to that question yet. I'm proud of it that it's the first heirloom out of the garden. ![]() Julia
