Mine is also smaller that Black Cherry which it supposedly derived from. It grows more bushy and not as tall. Many side shoots on this one. I've let some of them grow, pruned others. We prune heavily around here due to high night humidity (we get blight as early as late June), so most of us grow our tomatoes single to double stem and just staked, cages are virtually unknown here...

Unfortunately, though I had gotten GDF in a prior seed offer by Carolyn, none of them germinated. I did better with Green Zebra Cherry and saved some seeds last year from it, and I have 3 planted out and they are doing well -- lots of buds, but I noticed that they fruit a little later toward midseason in my zone. I really liked the taste much better than Green Grape which I have previously grown a couple of times.

I'm growing Green Zebra Cherry for the first time this year, and it took a few tomatoes before I knew when to pick them. All I can say is WOW! Great taste on a very productive plant. I'll grow this one again.

I'll look forward to your photo. My plant is very small, only about 2' tall, and has only 3 or 4 fruits.

I like Green Doctors Frosted. Haven't had the others though.
