Growing it for several years now too (since 2008 I believe), I'm remembering back to the first year I grew it and getting fruit that were smaller than what I'm getting now. My seed that I have is clearly not stable or has been crossed if I have one pink and one red. And to tell you the truth the flavor has been off for the one Goose Creek pink that I'm growing this year. Something aint right.

Hi, I thought this might be a good time for my first post here. Have been lurking quite a while and used to post a good deal on another forum that many of you used to (and some still do) post on. I missed the past two tomato seasons due to health reasons but I'm "back in action" now with a great crop of tomatoes. So..... my 2 cents on the current subject:
I'm growing Goose Creek started with seeds from Adam Geckler. The tomatoes are pink, round, and in the 6-8 oz range (with many larger). And they are delicious! Anne Merced, CA |

Welcome Anne! Good to hear your garden is back with a bang! Your GC sound more like the norm to me. My pink GC this year is A typical except for flavor, its missing that bite!

Well Damon,
I think it's time for a ROAD TRIP to SoCal to buy some genuine Goose Creek plants from either Laurel, or from Jimmy Williams himself to make sure we get the "real deal" for next year's planting. Are you in?? Raybo |
