Tibet Appel is pretty compact - http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Tibet_Appel

I also did a search through Tatiana's TOMATObase to select all tomatoes that are 'heirloom' and 'determinate' and this is the list I got:

Black Sea Man
Burbank
Burbank Self-Pruning and Early
Carrot-Like
Clear Pink Early
Early Annie
Early Dwarf Cherry
Giant Italian Paste
Gruntovyi Gribovskiy 1180
Grushka
Grushovka
Koralik
Lida Ukrainian
Magyar Piros Boker
Maja
Manitoba
Martino's Roma
Morkovnyi
Mountain Princess
Orlinoe Serdtse
Quarter Century
Red Skin
Silvery Fir Tree
Tambovskiy Urozhainyi 340
Tatura
Tibet Appel

You can use Multi-Search function at Tatiana's TOMATObase to find tomato varieties that belong to multiple categories here: http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/S...CategorySearch

For example, you can type 'Determinate Tomatoes' and 'Heirloom Tomatoes' as categories to get the list above.

Unfortunately this list does not include compact indeterminates, but you can use 'Semi-determinate Tomatoes' category in the search to find more compact plants.

To find heirloom Dwarfs, you can use 'Dwarf Tomatoes' and 'Heirloom Tomatoes' categories in the search:

Budaï Torpe
Dwarf Champion Improved
Golden Dwarf Champion
Lucky Leprechaun
Quarter Century
Quarter Century, Burpee's

Some that have been fairly compact for me are Lumpy Red, Grubs Mystery Green, and Carbon. Eva Purple Ball and Druzba have also been quite compact.
