How many of the fruits on your brother's plant look like that and are all the fruits on your plant round and look correct when ripe?

You are right. I checked with him and the tomato is not completely ripe. They do turn red but stay dark green on the top. My plant is true. Round and Orange/yellow with the starburst pattern on the bottom. My brother tells me they taste fine but obviously it's not as it's supposed to be. Oh well.
