First Heirloom-Tartar Of Mongolistan
As Promised here is the photo of the first heirloom picked.
Tartar Of Mongolistan. Small, odd shaped and filled with seeds. The taste was acidity with hints of sweet. First Impression; A decent tasting variety from a small mature plant standing approx. 3.5 Ft tall. Would I grow it again? With so many varieties out there I don't know the answer to that question yet. I'm proud of it that it's the first heirloom out of the garden. Julia

Congrats! That one doesn't look all that odd shaped compared to a lot of my first fruits this year. Let us know how the later fruit look and taste?
