Default Tomato Fertiliser

This recipe for a tomato fertiliser was given to me by an old New Zealand gardener.

4 parts dried blood
2 parts blood and bone
1 part superphosphate
1 part sulphate of potash
1 part Epsom salts
Apply a dessertspoon once a fortnight after the first fruit appears. Apply dry and water in.

It is supposed to enhance the favour.

I don't usually use fertilizer that have animal products. I prefer to use kelp and alfalfa meal now a days a lot of people avoid using blood and animal by products because of mad cow disease. Alfalfa and kelp are full of trace element and growth enhancers
