The weather is moderating. My plants are improving
In the past I posted that my tomato plants were all turning brown and dying. Now that the weather on Long Island, is moderating, the plants seem to be comng back to life. Does this mean that it was not a blite or fungus that cause the problem but the intense heat?

Elliot,
Local weather has been great this week! I think plant problems were most likely a combo of both. Had touches of septoria, EB and mildew here. With the weather improvement, and a lot of spraying, mine are making a nice end of season comeback as well. |

My Rutgers survived a case of the wilt this year, but even though the plant is growing, it might be too late to get new fruit. Days too short and cooling off too much. You might have better luck downstate 1.5 zones south of here.
