That counter top planter thing...
I can't remember the name of it, but that appliance that sits on a kitchen counter and you can grow herbs, lettuces and tiny tomato plants-anyone have one or recommend using one?
I'd love to get one to grow fresh greens for my rabbits and not have to go to the stores so much. |

Aerogarden
I use an Aerogarden to start seedlings and for lettuce. Mine's been going strong for 3 years without a problem. The built-in timer is great. You do have to replace the light bulbs every 6 months, and there is the cost of the kits if you choose to use them, but I've been very happy with mine.
