Plumb Bush - Thoughts?
Hi folks,
I was wondering if any of you could provide some direct feedback on: http://www.doublehelixfarms.com/plum-bush I live in So. Cal. USDA zone 9b / AHS zone 8. Like so many other places this summer has been brutal hot. For 2013 I would like to keep my grow list short to help simplify things. -- Tomato -- - Prue -Plumb bush? -- Peppers -- - Jalapeno Traveler - Rooster Spur -- Melons -- Chance may be sending me some Turkish melon seeds! -- Cucumber -- - Parisian Pickling I am sure that I am forgetting something. I am a huge salsa / pepper sauce fan. I love to make my own! |

Ummm, never heard of it before?
Only two varieties seems risky. What if they both do not like the weather that year? (Of course our weather is likely to be more uncertain than yours, up here west of the Cascades. Having several varieties provides a chance that a few of them actually thrive in whatever a given year's weather is like.)

Thanks Dice,
The more I think about it, I may just include a couple more varieties. I need to be careful with my space limitations. Gary |
