Ive tried to load some more photos in photobucket of progress on the stone walls as of yesterday but photobucket been doing some crazy things lately so i'll try again later

Photobucket is going through a transition to a beta version of their server software. It is a pain in the posterior right now, but I am hopeful they will soon get it right.

I grew Azoychka for the first time this year. The fruits were pleasantly tangy. However, my area did get a hot, fairly dry summer, which tends to concentrate the flavor, I think. They were not nearly as bland as I'd experienced with other yellow tomatoes.

I hope yours start tasting better (without drought to get them that way).

I thought 7/10 for Azoychka was ok,may not have not as much taste if it were growing outside as it still hasnt warmed a lot yet,in fact we even had a late frost this morning

Nice work Medbury , I'll be eating tomatoes by Xmas . It's a race between Evans purple pear and Dwarf Capri show stopper .

I thought 7/10 for Azoychka was ok,may not have not as much taste if it were growing outside as it still hasnt warmed a lot yet,in fact we even had a late frost this morning

I think you are right on about Azoychka's flavor. It has quite a nice lemony tartness to it, but little if any sweetness, so the people that prefer sweet tomatoes will not like it. I grow one plant of it every year to get early slicers, but it pretty much gets ignored later on when the tomatoes with more complex flavors get going. Most of the fruit has been medium sized, even growing in a pot.

Hi Richard , it's my first year growing both , the dwarf is a real surprise ,very prolific and early.Is this common in the Pesty line ?Evans purple pear is from Wild Boar it's a potato leaf, small medium size fruit . The warmer weather has really kicked them along !

Not sure Andrew if they all from the pesty line are earlier ripening or not,ive got Dwarf Caitydid F6 from the Pesty line so it will be interesting to see if earlier than the other dwarfs
