Default HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Just wanted to stop in between cooking up some black eye pea soup with sausage and hamburger as well as all the wonderful spices, to wish yall a wonderful and blessed NEW YEAR 2013!

Same here from S Florida.We do the sauerkraut, kielbassi,assorted sausages and cold potato salad tradition.Kraut is supposed to "clean" you out for the New Year.All my neighbors(internationals)all seem to have different food traditions for the New Year.

Black-eyed peas with stewed tomatoes, Ham and either turnip greens or collards.
