Default Leak free tomato?

I had someone ask me about these tomatoes? I had never heard of them. Sounds kind of like a creepy tomato. http://www.nunhems.com/www/nunhemsin...2575ED0059242B
Anyone know anything about it? Reminds me of the Kumato hype.

It isn't what they say in their hype. It is was they DONT say in their hype.

I didn't see a single word about the tomato tasting good.

Let's see, they talk about fast food, chain restaurants, and grocery stores. Yep I bet they taste real good.

I obviously missed my career calling. I should have pursued a career in ad copy writing, especially since there are those fellow SSE members who have said that my blurbs for listed varieties in the SSE Yearbooks make them want to request seeds for this or that variety.

I don't list varieties to make money, so that's not the issue, I just like to write lurid descriptions of some tomato varieties.

Terry, wasn't that link from about 2008? I don't want to lose this post to go back and check, but I remember it said that INTENSE would be very popular in America b'c we're a fast food nation. Oh well, I try to eat slowly.

I'm not sure Carolyn. Had someone email me about it and send some links. I had never heard of it. Just reading about a gel-less and leak free tomato made me cringe. I was curious if it is a GMO.

The article did say something about 2008 being a great year for this tomato...or something like that. But a juice less tomato, yuck. My love of the tomato includes the drippy juicy wonderfulness. Without that you just may as well put more lettuce on your sandwich. And lack of said drippy awesomeness in store bought tomatoes is why I only eat tomatoes that are grown at home....sigh, it's a billion months til tomato season..
