So far my favorite for taste is Opal's Homestead. Just luscious.

Hi Chis,
I had not germinated any for this grow season as i have room for only 52 plants and had already started all my seedlings for my plant swap (102) varieties, and also needed extras for the 2012 seed offer from Carolyn, which had experimentals in it, so had to grow more of them. I also of course didn't grow nearly close to the whole 102 either. Both of your 2 crosses will be started in August when my next season starts. I am excited about them, and so I hope that is OK with you. It is too late now, it will be too hot for them to set any fruit until summer is over. Marsha |

Excellent!
Is Opal's Homestead a cross from Homestead o something completely different? Remy

Most of the fruit are 4 ozs. I got it from blueribbontomatoes.com. I know it isn't the same as Homestead because I remember those from when I was a little girl and they grew them commercially on my grandfather's acreage. Those weren't good at all. ![]() Marsha |
