Help Please-These Look Like Small Flies
I am fairly new to gardening and could use some help with how to control these small pests. I assume they are not good for my plants and they seem to be on almost all of them. I describe them as looking like a very small house fly about 1/8 inch long.
What should I use to control these pests? Can anyone tell me the name of these pests from the description above? |

My first guess would be fungus gnats. Look it up and see if it is a match, Good luck : )

If your soil is too wet for too long with poor circulation, chances are, they're fungus gnats. If you root arond the soil with a stick, you might see small white "larvas" to back up the theory.
