Small commercial greenhouse?
With the latest trend of colder than normal weather here in the last 5 years, we are seriously thinking about investing into a good quality heated greenhouse to raise our seedlings. It becomes more and more ridiculous to bring 2000+ seedlings in and out every night, and we seem to have been doing this every night lately (had a hard freeze last night again despite the forecast showing 36F)
We need approximately 12X24' area (can be a bit larger), and thinking about 8 mm polycarbonate with anti-fog, gas heater, and possibly a soil warming cable (not sure about it yet). Our outside temps in spring are 26-45F at night and 45-56F during the day, and we need 50-52F at night and 64F during the day to provide comfortable environment for our seedlings. Heating cost is a concern. The obvious options are buy vs build. Obviously buying would be more expensive, but building it requires time that Stan may not have, as he is busy with the house reno. I am sure there are some folks here who own a greenhouse similar to what we are looking for. Can you share your experience and provide suggestions about the best brands, best options, best accessories, etc, anything that would help us to get started. So far I've looked at Greenhouse Megastore and liked Gable 7500 Commercial Greenhouse (http://www.greenhousemegastore.com/p...al-greenhouses) Do you have suggestions on where to buy a good one? Any help would be appreciated. Tatiana
