Here are some pics of my corner greenhouse and planters in the city.
A planter that I built today. It will hold 9 plants: ![]() My other planter. It's nice and deep and has grown some nice tomatoes: ![]() Inside my greenhouse today: ![]() ![]() Here's my 3-leaf Big Beef cotyledon plant. It's the first I've ever had: ![]() One of my tomatoes from last year: ![]() They grew profusely: ![]() And were big and meaty: ![]() These are my pepper plants. They didn't like it outside last night so I brought them in for tonight. There are red and yellow bell, Siberian hot, Jalapeno and sweet banana: ![]() One of my peppers from last year: ![]() I use a little pellet fertilizer in peat pots for all of my seedlings to get them going. I like to use black soil that comes up in frost heaves in the spring. I collected a half truckload today out in the mountain foothills for the new planter. It is so rich and black. I also use composted kitchen waste once they go into the ground. I have had very good luck with growing vegetables in this small area. I have to give a ton of extras away every year. This looks wonderful. I especially like the nice deep planters.
