I know Worth. There are some darn good folks here.Every time I go to some place like HEB or a local restaurant folks are very polite and helpful.Or folks walking down the street give ya a wave hello walking by the house when your outside. Not a bad city at all.Ya get good with the bad every place ya go. I do like it here. And being near Fort Hood it gives me a chance to thank our soldiers for their service.

Rebel -- sounds lilke you're pretty "familiar" with these Mater Dogs...
Maybe the Tom Cats and the Mater Dogs need to join forces

I always wanted to be like Robin Hood and His Merry Men -- we could take extra tomato seedlings and "redistribute" them

Both the batteries on my horse trailer were missing this morning. They were the expensive, deep cycle batteries and nearly new.

My old DO lives there. He retired in Killeen. Good guy, for an artillery man.

Are there any holes left behind? This happened with two of my strawberry plants and, after some investigation, I found some underground tunnels, which indicates that it was voles.

bdank, I also had voles.

One day the plants are fine and the next you come out and there is nothing but a small hole in the ground. Occasionally, there would be a small branch sticking out. Never saw anything else like it.

Even the deer left a little of a plant! Not voles, though.
