Hopefully, grafting tomato is becoming mainstream. Prices of the tomato will drop next few years.

Might 'Mato and other are expensive for now.

Hope Bonnie Tomatoes produce them next year. Bonnie are sold in Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes.

I think the benefits will have to be demonstrated pretty thoroughly to justify the extra expense in most people's minds.

Grafted Tomato and Peppers has been around years by the serious gardeners. Only last year 2012, some grower started to commercialize them.

In 2013, the media started to embrace them with Articles in USA today, Los Angeles Times and many other.

Like anything, hope to become mainstream to drop the prices from $15.99 at your local Armstrong to under $10.00 or closer to double regular price.

It like the Topsy Tomato, I remember retailers started around $25.00. Now, I seen them as low as $7.99. I think Topsy Tomato is hype up overprice tomato planting which the box and container cost more than seed and soil.
