June garden in south Florida with pics
Hello all, Things are getting pretty rough down here right now. My tomatoes are still hanging on, but many fruits are showing sun burn and disease is starting to get them. I must admit that I stopped spraying daconil and copper about 3 weeks ago and the summer rain patterns have set it so I am also getting some splits.
I have increased the size of the garden and put up a new fence. The dirt shown in the pic is the new section and had St. Augustine growing on it like the outside perimeter of the fence. I had covered it with thick hay and tarps a couple of months ago to kill the grass. I have tilled it and planning on planting legumes in August. Here are some visitors I have coming by every day. They are so cute I just had to post them.

Hello Raybo,
I live on the northern edge of the Everglades agricultural region. This place at times was the bottom of Lake Okeechobee. I sent in 2 soil samples last week. One was of the ground I just tilled and the other is what I have had grown 3 crops on. I am anxious to see if there is any difference. Once I receive the results I will post them in their own thread.
