Surprise Chocolate Cherry plant
I started all of my tomatoes from seed and transplanted a "Jersey Devil" plant and it has tons of cherry size tomatoes on it. A few weeks ago, I noticed that they didn't grow any bigger. So I forgot about it for a few days. Then I noticed they were changing color, bottom up. The great thing is that I didn't start any cherry tomato seeds until a month ago. So I must have received this seed mixed in as a "bonus". I just picked the first 3 ripe tomatoes from it and they were DELICIOUS!! I looked them up on tomatobase and that's what they looked like. This is my first year growing and I am totally amazed by the difference in taste from homegrown V storecrap! My tastebuds are in heaven! YUMMY

i had a similiar surprise when i was looking at a supposed cherry type plant and saw what appears to be a paste type instead. i try so hard so have accurate labeling but, sometimes...................of course the seeds might not have been as represented. it will still taste good.
