SSE 2006 yearbook description:

85 days, indet., regular leaf, good yield of 12-20 oz red oxheart fruit, outstanding flavor, from Mark Korney, Buffalo, NY
I yet to try it, but I thought I'd post a couple of pictures on how it's been doing in my garden so far. And yes, the fruits are HUGE, larger than the 1 lb Brandywine I just picked yesterday 8)

I'll post more pictures once the fruits start to turn.

Can't wait to try this one

So, Tania -- tasted this one yet? If so, what did you think? Sounds interesting.

Suze,

believe it or not, it hasn't yet produced a ripe fruit for me!

I am hoping it will soon, since my tomato season goes as far as the first heavy rains start here (early Oct/late Sept).

The fruits are HUGE!

I'll keep you posted.

Just curious if the long daylight hours in vancouver will produce bigger fruits.

What's the verdict?

Mine is throwing heaps of flowers, setting good fruits, with a pointy end it seems, and the plant habit is lovely, and half way between wipsy and reg RL.

It's looking like a keeper in many ways. So how did you find the taste?

Cheers,

Grub.

Nice big reds.

Sounds like a late-season one. Hopefully the long hot summer helps.

I'll use this thread for updates.

Thanks Tania.

Best, Grub

Tania,
Are you going to take that from Michael?!
It has nothing to do with the camera, it is your skill, artistic perception, composition sophistication, --------- that result in such great shots.
Tell him off, give it to him, make him appologize -------

(note to myself: buy a canon A80 soon )
