I picked 5 more of the pink white cherry today. I can't wait to grow the seeds out next season. I hope I get pinks! |

pink lemonade does sound a lot better than pink white cherry. Josh's pink lemonade since he found it and flagged it. We picked and packed 1572 pints and got them to Raleigh and Hickory in less than in 48 hours. Josh found a mutant sungeen and flagged it yesterday. I'll try and get a picture posted tonight. It is making a pear shape with a long neck.
Some of the things I would consider when putting together a list is shelf life. We are picking early in the morning, putting them in the cool room at 58, rinse, pack, back in the cool room, and then off the next morning. Black cherry can make it, but it has a tendency to be the first to get over ripe, they are even sweeter, but split. I think it has a little EB resistance too, but I am open to suggestions. |
