I'm in love with Sara Black!
Thanks to my very kind and generous neighbor, I just tried my first Sara Black tomato and it now has to be one of the best tomatoes I've ever tasted! This year I didn't grow any black tomatoes but this one will definitely be a must next year. No need for salt or any mayo needed. Awesome all by itself!

Note that it was bred by Joe Bratka whom I knew very well and he bred different colored Sara's as well/ The information he gave as seed coming from his grandmother''s sister is not true/ Because he had no living relatives back in Germany at that time. The only truly family heirlooms of his are Eva ( not Eva's), Purple Ball, Marizol Purple and Marizol Gold. Joe had said that if folks wanted heirlooms he would breed them, and he so he did. Carolyn
