Sorry to disappoint Carolyn.

I'm Jeremy Wood, Cheese maker in Nantwich Cheshire, Formerly a winemaker and excited by any foodstuffs enhanced by microbes.

I believe I have qualities that are commendable but sadly, I lack the Cherfas Gene.

And I'm a retired Microbiolgist who obviusly is also interested in Microbes, and especially those having to do with cheese, which I love.

Yes, thats him and I didn't know he'd moved to Rome. When I knew him he was very involved with a seed preservation site in England.But from time to time also posted t variou message sites in the US.

It´s time!
The first fruits from one of the Magic Trick plants is ready to be tasted (haven´t done that yet).
If you take a good look you can see the stripes on the orange fruit.



And this is the other plant; totally different, because of the growth. It is a very grown to earth plant, not even getting to my knees , but the distance between the fruit clusters is much, much smaller.
