Brandy Boy has always done well for me here in humid Gulf Coast Texas, It sets heavily and you get close to Brandywine flavor. Its a must grow for me as well.

Default Grew "Big Pink" this year

Grown Brandy Boy in previous years, had issues with disease and low production. I love pink tomatoes and did try "Big Pink" from a Burpee seed pack. It's a hybrid but am pleasantly surprised by it's consistent size, descent production and overall plant health. Flavor is quite good, comparable to other pinks like German Johnson and Brandywine Pink.

It was the first Brandywine type tomato to ever produce fruit for me down here. I still grow them but with the added strength of grafting to protect it from fusarium to which it has little resistance. It is much faster to make fruit than other Brandywine types for me. Flavor is outstanding as well as being productive with large fruit.

Default Up north too

They have done really well for several people up in AK in greenhouses too. Big plants, nice yields, great taste. I will had great luck with them, and if fully ripened they are so good.

the in-ground plant is producing tomatoes a little over a pound while the container plant is producing tomatoes a little larger than a tennis ball
