This is the first time I've grown Turk's Cap, and PI281317, and I haven't tried either yet. Some online sources I've found say they are medium hot and others say they have no heat at all. All of them seem to agree they are very aromatic and tasty, so hot or not I can't lose!

Here's what I just brought in about an hour ago. Clockwise from left, the big yellow/orange ones are Santa Se Grande, two Iraq bell types, Fataliis, Tasmanian Blacks, Habaneros with a couple of Red Savina Habaneros, Yellow Pointed.

Bill where can I purchase seeds for the Turks Cap? I love the little yellow peppers! I thought I had purchased a Santa Fe Grande from Home Depot but I bought Gypsy instead! I've been hearing a lot of great reviews of the Santa Fe Grande and now I wish I would have bought the plant!

Living in central FL I can grow peppers all year round here, I've heard of some people with pepper plants on their second and even third year of producing and growing peppers here.

I read somewhere that hot peppers do better in the heat and the bell pepper types do better in cooler temps?

These are some jalapenos and banana peppers that stepson picked last week. They spent last week in the fridge. Some red cayennes for color. I'm making poppers out of these.

There is a Walmart bag of cayenne peppers in the fridge also. No sense in posting a pic because I've done that too many times already, lol. They just keep on keeping on! Making some pickles and more puree for the freezer. Good stuff there.
