Richard, the best place to ask for seeds from anywhere is in the WANTED sub Forum of the Seed Exchange, which you can find by scrolling down on this page.

Hope that helps,

Carolyn

Ok now I'm really confused.
You asked for tomatoes from South Africa and Romania
Then
Quote:
. . . South America, Peru. San Marzano, reisetomate,. . .
Are you looking for tomatoes from all these places or have you changed your mind?

As far as I know San Marzano are Italian, although there is some talk that they may have come from Peru.

Tatiana Tomatoase is a good place to start for many of these questions

I guess you can say all tomatoes had their origin in South America.

In the link Doug gave you you'll find some listed from Africa, Argentina and Mexico.

And as Doug said, the original place where tomato were first found is in South America, but those are species tomatoes, such as currant tomatoes, S. Pimpinellifolium and the salt water tolerant one S. Cheesmanii, etc.,and not what you're looking for I don't think.

Reisetomate is a specific variety, which I've grown, and is from Germany.
