Very nice garden!

I grow in raised beds too but not so much for the drainage but to mark the area so no walking is done in the beds. Mine are only about six inched raised and dug to 30 inches deep.

Thanks Arborist. I am enjoying them a lot. They take much less time to prepare and maintain.

On the bed depth... I am finding I like the ease of working in them as much as anything. Not having to bend quite so far to get to the work is a plus.

I personally enjoy that it adds an aesthetic structure to the garden. It frames your different crops.
